- Responsible for the overall IT function of organisation’s operations in Hong Kong and China Area
- Reporting line to the central IT department in headquarter and the local management.
- The IT function includes financial planning, follow-up, personnel, delivery, quality and strategic discussions of the IT operations in the region
- Develop, review, and establish corporate policy for efficient functioning of the department.
- To work closely with business users in the region to ensure smooth running of the IT operations and to meet with defined criteria and standard set by the headquarter.
- Proven track record in high-level system and network infrastructure design with ability in conducting in-depth business process review and concluding adequate improvement in IT policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science or IT or related discipline
- 10 years experience in a proven technical field, preferable in financial institutions, 5 years in managerial level
- Experience in project development and overall knowledge of IT operations, support and technical infrastructure
- Sound Knowledge of MISYS products (Midas-Plus, Trade Innovation, Meridian), data network, systems development of various applications, and information systems including security, data center, and enterprise-wide systems.
- Independent problem solver, self-driven and sound leadership skills
- Strong communication skill from technical and business users perspectives
- Willingness to overseas travelling
- Proficiency in written and spoken of English and Chinese including Mandarin
